MILAN, Italy -- Novara claimed its first win in six games with a 2-1 victory over Lazio on Wednesday, which could seriously dent the Roman sides hopes of claiming third place and the remaining Champions League spot. In an entertaining match, Lazio defender Modibo Diakite gave Novara the lead shortly after the half hour when he turned Andrea Mazzaranis shot into his own goal.
