It's a "BIG" night for me tonight! Traditionally it's one of the best nights of the YEAR to go out in my home town. The bars and clubs filled to the rim with adults that are incognito. The masses will unite as a group, all the walls of social and economics barriers are down. Something about adults getting dressed up in costumes, they tend to lose all inhibitions and are unbridled when they hide behind a mask. There is a mystique about the others behind the mask too ... It's a diverse group of people that share the same intentions for the night ... To be 'mysterious'! Oh, that ...

Those facts have always made it fun to go out on the town for the costume parties. My nights going to be big for other reasons too: I'm going to go the whole night without drinking! I've only drank twice since late May. The last time I went out, I drank ... I had a good time -but- I also got sicker than hell. (I guess when the body is used to a lot of alcohol and then having none for so long ... it will do that?) I haven't thought that I should Stop all together, but I also know I'm not going to depend on drinking to "Have a good time" either. I thought what better way of proving that fact -- than going out on a night such as tonight and not drink. I mean it should be easy to have fun on this night than any other. I was thinking about it ... I was looking forward to an all out "slam-hammered-effin-drunk-fest"! Then I started thinking how bad I felt after the last time ... *shudders* (ick) I really just don't WANT it. So, to prove a point to myself: "I'm flying without a net, tonight" I had a conversation with a friend on here today ... and my dating younger girls came up. I also decided that tonight I'm not even going to talk to any female that is more than 10 years younger than me. (that makes them 33 and up) I just thought as I typed that though ... How am I going to know tonight? Umm, costumes and all ... Perhaps I'll just stick to the NOT drinking for sure, and if it comes down to it ... Not SLEEPING with anyone under 33! (let's face it, I'd most likely will have a chance to find out their age if it goes that far) ... I hope? *shakes head slowly* I hope this finds all my "Lost Cherry" friends well and happy.
