The Giants communications office has confirmed that the September 2 New England Patriots at New York Giants preseason match up will be shown in 3D. This will be the first time any NFL contest has aired on 3D TV. Verizon FiOS subscribers in the New York/New Jersey/Massachusetts/Rhode Island area can view the game on channel 834. A 3D television set, 3D glasses and high definition set top box are all necessary to view the Patriots Giants game in 3D.

As expected, the most talented player coming out of college football was selected No. 1 overall in the NFL draft on Thursday night at Radio City Music Hall.

"I grew up the hard way," Clowney said. "A lot of people said I would never be anything. I kept telling myself I'm going to be John Brown Jersey something great. I'm going to be a Hall of Famer one day."

"It's all such a blur," Carey said shortly after being picked. "I'm just walking around with a big smile. I don't know what's going on. I get to start my dream job this week. I've been waiting to say this for so long: I am an NFL player."

Carey is the first Arizona player to be drafted since the Cleveland Browns took cornerback Trevin Wade in the seventh round of the 2012 draft. It was a drought that spanned 379 picks over three drafts.

After spending Friday night at Fox and Hound Sports Tavern for a draft party, Carey retreated to a relative's house Saturday morning for the remainder of the draft. The Bears tried calling Carey before the pick, but his phone never rang.

"I guess I had bad service," Carey said laughing. "My mom just said 'typical Ka'Deem,'"

Cornerback Shaq Richardson was picked one round later by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 157th overall pick. Linebacker Marquis Flowers could also be a late round pick. If he isn't drafted, Flowers is a candidate to sign rookie free agent contract shortly after the draft.
