So here I sit as another day passes
Endless confusion for eternities masses
Questioning so many feelings that began innocently
Wondering what will become of me
I come forward with good will and intent
Trying to ease the pain and simply be content
Slowly I am moving forward and pressing on
Regaining my strength and proving my brawn
Beautiful, Independant, Intelligent - Extraordinary, if you will
This is how I see myself when everything is standing still
Confident even in my shortcomings that I will prevail
An array of emotions with thoughts of what the future may entail
Stepping firmly, my head held high
Spreading my wings and learning to fly
Finally making this life my own
Which was previously to me unknown...
