Even is a crowded room I feel so alone

Anxiety and fear like you’ve never known

Soon it will be my time to speak

Delivering information everyone will seek

I listen intently to the speaker before me

How confident she seems to be

Oh no, it’s my time to go

My anxiety I must not show

To be cool calm and collected

Is what is expected

I deliver my speech with flair

My words floating gently over the air

To the ears of the awaiting crowd

Now that it’s done, I feel quite proud
