Out of nowhere
Like a bullet
From the dark night

Screams of terror
Pain of fear
Sound of sirens
Tears in my eyes

Sudden stillness
Black and silence
No more screaming
No more cries

Stunned and bewildered
Cold and afraid
Torn up and broken
Frightened and daized

Day after Day
Night after Night
Replaying the Events Endlessly
Where was the red light

Over and Over
Scene after Scene
Like a Recurring Nightmare
Haunting my dreams
Haunting my life
It will stay with me Forever

What is next?
The past is already gone
The future won't exist
No son shall ever see
his father in such a mess

Falling in pain
Drifting in agony
Lost in this wonderful misery
This panic fades
And I survived

Its a miracle he lived
Its a blessing no one died
By the grace of God above
No more fear
No more pain
