Ok, i'm going to say this, despite what anyone thinks. And let me be TOTALLY clear: I am in no way a racist.
I recently heard that Obama wants to exponentially raise taxes. He's going to raise Soft Drink Taxes by 18%! He's going to heavily tax you if you download music, he's going to tax your booze even more, and he'll probably raise the national tax a bunch as well.
I want to believe that he's a good guy, i want to believe that he's looking out for the american masses, but it seems to me that he isn't. It seems to me that he wants is more money. Taxing the shit out of your people will not help the economy, it will only make it worse.
What was the biggest reason we broke off from the UK? That's right, HIGH TAXES. I fully understand that something has to be done about the economy, but i do not believe that raising the taxes is a good idea.
The politicians (Both republicans and democrats) have lost touch with reality. They don't have to pay any bills. The government pays for gas, eating out, groceries, any expense you can think of. So Congress will probably pass all of these high-tax resolutions because they know they aren't affected by it.
