Good Morning. Here is one for you and one I bet we all overlook daily. THE KEYBOARD! Yeah right there it is in front of each of us daily. I bet most of these are filled with dust mites, crumbs of some kind of food that was eaten near it and grime. Grime is just dirt and sludge that has taken a home in a spot if left alone too long. The computer Keyboard. We all use it. And abuse it. Ever find yourself thumping to hard on it? Oh heavens yes if you are playing a game and need to shoot fast, run faster jump higher? Oh yes then you have smashed a key or two. Ever get one of those keys that does not respond like it should so it gets extra hard thumps. One, that locks up? How about the Homer Simpson Key the “Any key” …That is a tuff one to find…. How about all those function keys F1,F2,F3 and so on and so forth the ”Control, ALT, Delete” My gosh there are endless combinations if you really look into it. Just what do those keys do? The Function keys? I mean I know at work (my place of business) those keys come into play. I will always have tasks that require a hit the “F9” or “F10” keys to find out important information or just a plain ole look-up. Wow if someone over heard your conversation on talking about the F Keys they may think you are swearing or talking about the newest arsenal in the US Air force. The key’s on a normal keyboard that do not get used very often why are they there? “Pause / Break” the Windows key and another one I can’t even begin to tell you what it’s function is … looks like a printer or task bar drop down… Many, many different things on one keyboard and most take for granted, if they can log onto the internet and connect with someone they are fine. But, just have trouble with a key or two or logging on and fat finger a key and all hell breaks loose. That was me way back in 1995 when I first was introduced to a laptop, not the dancer.. that was earlier..but, just the same my blood pressure level climbed when things did not work out on logging in or clicking here and not knowing really what I was clicking here for…. Oh well the Key Board may it forever be your friend.. Just like me
