The journey starts as people meet they watch each other to see if they have anythig in common and hear thier words as they speak. They soon realize tha they people they have chosen to speak with have certain special qualities that helps them to complete themselves.
The journey though it may be good for them to travel becomes full of twists, turns, and obsticales for the people to take. It is through these types of situations that you realize how true of a friend that you have and are.
In this part of the journey your friendships will meet its challenges as some of your friends will stop. Some will turn around, turning thier backs on you. And some will try to lead the way, acting as if they know how to get you through the difficult times. While a true friend will stand beside you take you by the hand to help you take the rough road ahead step by step with you.
It is during this process you realize what friendship is, because those who stop or turn thier backs on you were never friends in the first place, unless it benefitted them. Those who lead the way will either tire from dragging you along and grow weary. Or they will go so far ahead of you that you will give up on them. But the people who stay by yourside holding your hand through the good and the bad, you will feel secure with as it is these people who truely know how you feel and what you have gone through as they have been there with. They have held your hand lifted you when you were down. They have smiled at ou when you were down to help bring a smile to your face, as you have them also. Thes people have indured with you through all the heartaches and joyfullness.
It is on this journey of friendship you will find it is like a patchwork quilt and the pieces must fit ot work together, they cannot be too smal or to big to fit, because then the quilt becomes lopsided. They have to be just right to be put together for it to become a covef. The picies can be of different colors or background and still work out well. So long as they are of the same size or makeup. Because when they are of he same makeup you cannot pull them apart. This is the true journey of friendship the willingness or ability to work together.
During this journey you will meet many people that will say they are your friends, and some will be. You will learn day by day which one of these people are your friends as some will fade away and some will pass you by. But hold on to those people who hold onto you as they and only they, are your true friends.
