"One Track mind" . A "One Track Mind" as the name suggest, has a strong intellect and wit about them. Always clever and with amusing thoughts. And yes as the old expression goes: "You've got a one track mind!" You often think about sex! The average person thinks about sex something like ... every 5.2 seconds -or- is it every 3.5 seconds? *ponders* With your high thought capacity it's more like you'll drift back to sexual thoughts 5.2 times every 3.5 seconds! *ponders again* You probably are a jokester and quite like a-b-l-e . . . "sorry, lost my thought" ... You may like to make a dirty comment here and there, but in a joking w-a-yy . . . "So sorry, lost it again! Boobies, *oops* Butt - I mean BUT I'm back now!" You might pick out something's in a regular conversation legs, ass, tits and probably heard: "Get your mind out of the gutter!" sex, sex, sex Where was I at? Oh yeah ... You've got quite the dirty sex, pull her hair, romp her umm mind! "Sorry, I cant seem to . . .sex, sex, sex! translate my thoughts!" *ponders* "Were you saying something to ME?" *smirks* * (just expressing that style of thought) * .. "YOU'RE THE BEST DIRTY THINKER!" As I was trying to display above, you got the clear thoughts and the tit ... oops, WIT! Your Train of Thought: Though the category is named: "One Track mind", that's not nessaserily true. You do tend to let your thoughts wonder ... (about SEX for instance!) Although you say focused on the subject on hand, you will sway back and forth on your thoughts. You often see the funnier side of the subject, and tend to bring it to others attention. Which can liven up a dull subject or lighten up a serious one. (tention breaker ... had to happen!) You are probably good at games, but prefer the board or card games. You interact great at parties and can pull a dozen or so jokes out on any subject. Most will have your own flare and elabreations, and most likely DIRTY! "DEEP" thoughts on thoughts The entire "space" of thought, conscious, subconscious and unconscious, dissolves and reunites with the effortless flow of nature. The movement of thought becomes its meaning. Because that movement is part of the "world wave," every thought has the same meaning which is the ALL-meaning. Put in more tangible terms, the massage of the thought becomes its message. Obviously, one will abide in such a state only for certain durations, at certain times, for certain purposes (such as experiencing oneness, purification, deep rest). That is because in this state, thought has become vibrating contour without content. But as human beings, we also need to be able to respond to content, i.e. to think clearly about specific issues, effectively solve problems, skillfully consider situations. The ability to think empty thought and the ability to think clearly about issues mutually potentate each other. Appreciating this fact is one of the marks of spiritual maturity. The dissolving of thought back into the effortless flow of nature could be described as the beginning of a complete experience of ordinary mind. Despite the countless number of thought-moments which occur in the life span of a human being, there are altogether only one hundred and twenty-one different states of consciousness, each accompanied by its own specific attributes and functions. Some of these are active, in that they produce a result either skillful or unskillful; some are passive, or resultant, in that they are states of mind which are the product of earlier active mental tendencies, but which do not in themselves create further states of mind. So, if there has been an unskillful thought-moment rooted in aversion there will almost certainly be an unpleasant state of mind as a result of this some time in the future - this state of mind, however, will not in itself create further states of mind, though its occurrence may make it likely that active thought-moments rooted in aversion may arise in response to its unpleasantness. The other kinds of consciousness are functional, in that they operate outside the sphere of skillful and unskillful cause-and-effect. In everyday life, for instance, they are the thought-moments concerned with directing attention to the five senses or to mental states. While they are technically outside the world of cause-and-effect, they are extremely important in the tendencies of moment by moment consciousness, as it is these which direct the mind either inwards or outwards. The kinds of consciousness are functional, in that they operate outside the sphere of skillful and unskillful cause-and-effect. In everyday life, for instance, they are the thought-moments concerned with directing attention to the five senses or to mental states. While they are technically outside the world of cause-and-effect, they are extremely important in the tendencies of moment by moment consciousness, as it is these which direct the mind either inwards or outwards.
