Good Morning and hello there and how are ya? The gal Idol’s were ok last night. I still think the Nurse rocker should go, but she did well last night. Carley was awesome to say the least, she should win… enough Idol chat.
Ok, I heard this on the way into work today and it’s a safety notice, law what ever one may call it and perhaps just plain good sense to do it, but…when the object of a law crosses over into another category that is where I like to step in. The law is the safety seat for children. I agree with it and lord knows you have to have something in place or people will abuse it… oh before I herd off into another direction, I best give you the law I am referring to. “ Children under the height of 4’9” need to be in a booster, safety seat” So here is my thought process, most amusement parks will not allow a child under I believe it to me the 40” mark to ride there rides… you know the roller coaster thing-a-ma-bob that trusts one around and around until ya need a vomit bag or a quick run to the toilet. So the 40” is below 57” inch mark set by the driving law that prohibits children under 4’ 9” to ride just seat belted only…which also makes me chuckle a little bit Bonnie passed the law by 4” and I laugh because I am envisioning her sitting into a booster seat belted in…hardy har har har…. My Granny Bell would have had to wear the booster chair strapped to her ass and belted in… ok now this was a die in the wool Irish Lass, who time and again put yours truly into the fear of god many times…holey tabernacle she had an Irish temper.. like no other… Oh Granny Bell (Not related to Alexander Granny Bell I mean Graham Bell) Oh Grans was 4’8” ha ha, I would of like to seen that Officer pull her scrawny ass over and give her a ticket…She could make sailors blush… I know, the law states, “Children” But how can one make a case to put a 4’8” Child at the age of 10 in a seat while a 50 year old Grandma seats there just plain belted in… I know, you are saying, MARTY!!!! Use your Common sense… I don’t have common sense! I can safely say there will be those who say, hell with that the kid is too big for a car seat, and I am not buying a booster chair for them…Trust me they are out there… oh…. I keep having flashes of Bonnie in a Booster chair…LOLOLOL oh that is too rich… and then that vision goes away when I see the vision of Granny Bell chasing my ass around with a rolling pin…Oh well, just a thought, made my morning I hope yours is also made…
On the realistic side a special note for those who do not know RAE, she lost her father the other day, please give her a second of your time and put her in your thoughts.. A sweet, sweet lady… and I mean that about all ladies… except Granny Bell who chased my ass…
