This morning dad went to some sort of surgery. It took a few hours. I killed time reading my book outside of the hospital. They finally called me in saying the surgery was done. It was kind of odd seeing him laying there with tubes all all around him. Made me think about the times I've seen my cousin Heidie in the hospital in the past.
The doc explained to me what happened and what to look out for. Dad did fine, other than being real light headed, nauseous and pale looking. He's scheduled for a X-ray next week. He's been having some sort of bleeding inside of him. Kind of scary.
Hmm, not too sure what I'm thinking now. I took him home a while ago. Told him to call me if he needed anything. Gotta love the waiting game....
