Good Morning and I hope your up coming weekend will be that of a grand one for you. Hi there. Hopefully the weekend will be a formidable one for me as well. Mandy marches in her last St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Coloma on Saturday. Coloma always does one of those big to-dos for St. Patrick’s Day. Not the Green beer in bars celebration or anything of that nature. They do not color the river water green like in a big city just across the big pond of Lake Michigan. No they only paint a green stripe down the center of Main Street. Many floats and high school bands frequent the parade which is always held on the evening of St. Patrick’s Day. Should be no different rain or shine snow or no. We are considered an all season parade. Although now saying that. I remember a person who mentioned their air port was an all weather facility and when it closed do to a blizzard for 45 hours this man jumped up on the podium Chuck Cannon and purposed to choke the person responsible for coining the phrase that Denver was an all weather facility. Apparently reporters as there are love to report and quickly produced footage of Mr. Chuck Cannon himself bragging back in a 1992 interview stating that Denver was not an all weather facility Airport. I have never seen a man choke himself. I wonder if he proceeded to do so after reporters let that cat out of the bag? Oh well things that come back to kick you in the ass.
I tried taking my knuckle off last night with a serrated large curving knife. You know…I love bread dipped in olive oil and spices. But why is it when you buy French Bread. It has a shelf life of about 3 minutes? I mean that bread was not that awful old to be hard as wooden leg and then my goofy ass tried surgically removing my index fingers first knuckle. Here I am hopping around the kitchen as if I stubbed my toe.. and Bonnie comes flying out to the kitchen and sees me hoping thinking I have stepped a broken glass or something and the Chinese fire drill begins. Sit down , sit down!!! Is all I heard and I am like woman if I sit down I will bleed to death. I hold my hand up over my head. She says, “ what’s wrong with your hand,?” I guess the tale, tale sign of blood streaming down my arm was not a clue enough to her that I did not stub my toe. I am not sure if anyone else does this little feat or not but, when they hurt a part of their body they tend to show signs of pain in other locations. I guess I would not have been the best at doing charades last night. If so the team of Marty and Bonnie would have came in last. Oh well knuckle is back where it is supposed to be and me the two finger typing king is working it out. Although my left index finger typer helper is just a little stiff today… I am managing. So I hope you manage to have a super weekend and if the bread is stale… use a cleaver! Oh…gosh just think if I miscued that one….
