| Okay...I lived with my mom and my step father last year. I was taking care of my mother who passed away in Oct. She was sick with cancer. Figuring my step father would owe taxes I told him he could claim me and my kids on taxes. Well it turns out he got $8000 back for his return. I think I should get part of this but he hasn't offered any. Should I ask him straight out if he is going to give me part of it...or should I just suck it up? |
