Okay for those who want to bash me...here is the whole story feel free to read it or not...I really don't care but I feel if you are gonna bash something you should know the whole thing.
I paid rent, I paid for the food for me and my kids, I paid for the things we needed. I had no earned income for the year therefore I could not file taxes myself. Doesn't mean I didn't have income. I get child support that was plenty to take care of me and my kids and pay the $500 in rent.
I took care of my mother because I wanted to. Also he didn't and that is why I moved in. He didn't feed her or care for her the way she needed to be cared for. I did that because I love my mom. And thank you to all who offered their condolences.
As for my step father. He didn't work was home all the time and didn't take care of her. My mother supported him their whole marriage. As for him needing the money he got well over $250,000 when she passed. He doesn't need it.
So yes maybe I'm wrong for thinking that he should give me some of it. But I was just curious what others thought.
