   "An Angels Dilemma"


I'm an angel you know, but I'm one of grey
neither light nor dark, and I found one day
a problem I had, that would not go away

I fell for an angel, an angel of light
the shock that I felt gave me such a large fright
to find myself helpless, and in this strange plight

Much to my chagrin I looked back to see
I had only one wing, what has happened to me
and then the thought came, it was because of She

My angel of light, had smitten me with love
She blasted my heart, She sent me a dove

And that was the reason my wing went away
not to return til some far off day

I know you may think this a terrible thing
but I really dont mind, for She causes me to sing

With a look, or a smile, a wink or a kiss
She opens up vistas, all flowing with bliss

My angel
my heart
my wonder
my love

A gift sent by God
from high up above

And my wing, you may ask
how do I get along
with only one wing
and only a song

Well the truth of the matter
is simple you see
between us theres two
when Shes standing by me
