Like a snowglobe

Shattered to the ground

In pieces

Is my life like

Thirty years of trying

to collect all the pieces

Delicately

But with purpose

Hold in those tears

Can't let them see you cry

Weakness that is

So many chose to tiptoe

afraid of getting cut

Little did they know

I would never have hurt them

I may have just needed

support and encouragement

to continue looking

for the still missing pieces

Too dangerous

That I am

For they all left...

And here I stand

Tiptoeing...

Still searching for the pieces...

of my shattered glass.
