I find myself floating in an ocean of rage

A rage of all my gripes and discontents,

my doubts and fears,

A rage for the shadow of uncertainty that lays before me, 

And a cynical loathing for the moments I've left in my wake.

I am the commander of a great ship of madness.

On a journey to the finest unspecific distination.

Adrift a malevolent sea,

without the faculty to navigate the magnificent storms I collide,

as they wickedly crash this ship about,

They crash this woman about-

Stealing from me my prize of control.

When I find myself lost in this violent obscurity,

I am unsure if I have the faith to know where I am headed.

I doubt that I believe I will make it there.

I am even uncertain whether I posses the constitution and depth of character to persevere the course.

In this darkness all I do know is,

I dream of peaceful seas.
