That aside, I'm feeling perfectly ill with the world at large today. People tend to disappoint me. Greatly.
Though I've made my own small changes in the world, I fear the world has changed me more so than I have changed it. I've come to realize that it doesn't matter how nicely you treat certain people. Some people are simply jerks. It doesn't matter if you're a good kid. Some people will speak/think poorly of you. I've come to realize that regardless of how you didn't mean it, that's how some people will take it. I guess that's called growing up.
