Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!
Happy to see YOU again ...
I hope all is well on your side,
Just peachy here on my side of the screen.
Peachy ...
Now is that a clear way to say fine?
Kind of 'fuzzy' (pun intended) on what that means.
Linda mention the other day
that she would like to see
One 'SET' of rules at work
That got me thinking about the
black & white that we should expect
when rules are laid down ...
We want the same set of rules for everyone!
Societies have been created threw-out history in search
to keep rules that are set in stone and kept for EVERY
Person within that society to follow without exception.
Fair enough, I'll sign up ...
and most civilize people do,
For there is a NEED for said rules
boundaries are made in Black and White.
But after rules are made and set in stone, black & white ...
That's where things will get sketchy
when acceptable exceptions apply.
THAT'S where the 'GRAY' area's start to form ...
You think about a rule, and try to visualize it conception.
It makes sense until an un thought of scenario occurs,
then you need to make an amendment that allows for
certain circumstances to make the rule 'bendable' ...
Well, think about it ... now "gray" has started & from
one shade of gray can spread into a darker shade.
What's YOUR most
acceptable "Gray" area?
Very hard question, and left open to interpretation ...
An example:
Stealing is not acceptable in any matter?
As I was growing up -My mother, a saint very religious
and sensible thinker - would often say:
"I'd steal to feed my family"
I remember her defending stories she had
read about men being convicted for stealing bread
to feed their family ... So that's a 'gray area'
I know people who wouldn't do any wrong
or hurt a soul - but will cheat on their taxes
Gray?
Although murder is the last thing anyone
in their right mind would commit,
but to protect their family or loved ones ...
Gray?
Life is full of gray areas and we allow
for varied scenarios to apply
to rule breaking all the time.
The most 'honest' folk will steal company supplies
pens, paper, office stuff or even coffee ...
Yet, they don't look at that as stealing ...
Or the faceless corporations that people rip off daily?
So, do you follow every rule as it's written?
What's okay and should be over-looked
because it's Gray? to you???
The original guy hanging from chains - is my own art
I made it for a mumm comment almost 2 years ago.
I never really had much use for it and I thought
I'd make something up and find a place to post.
Also made the 'Saturday' gif ...
It's flowers.
I was rating 'Terri Hates the ShoutBox' pics
a while back and seen all her pretty flower photos
and wanted to make 'Saturday' pretty ... lol
I've got so many of those 'drawings'
(computer made) and I really
dont have any place for them ...
I'll probably do an eclectic blog
and just include them, I have this
thing about 'using' (posting) all my stuff -
Even if they are pointless, or no good
or a 'Happy' mistakes ... I lost so many
from computer glitches and such, that
I just like to put them on a page so
at least I have them as a back up.
So here's my lastest:
