Sharkfin's blog: "Chaos"

created on 10/03/2006  |  http://fubar.com/chaos/b9661
Good morning. I heard this story today on the way into work about a lady who opened what is called Sarah’s Smash shop. She will for a prize allow you to take out your frustrations on china, glasses, pictures of your ex, or those you have pictures of that you wish to mangle smash or whip it at a wall all for a nominal fee. She gets 45 dollars for you smashing 15 plates in a fifteen minute time frame…15 plates if I was mad enough would take no more then 15 seconds. However, this woman is a pioneer. I say that because you always see these rummage sales where people have tons and tons of glassware, china, plates of all shapes and sizes and she could pick them up for pennies on the dollar and make hundreds upon hundreds of dollars letting people take out their frustrations on them. Sounds like she is going to be smashing her way laughing to the bank… Ok, thugs in training, or shall we say Thugs not ready for Thugdom. Police in Wilmington, N.C., arrested Anthony Mallette, 30, and Capria Rouser, 28, in September, driving a stolen car, after they had allegedly tried to extort money from the owner for its return. They wanted $40. How in the world do these two think they are going to get more then a few miles down the road…gas still costs around 3 dollars a gallon. Two men attempted an armed robbery of the Brighton Mini Mart in Chicago in August, and when it was over, the man with the gun had accidentally shot himself in the foot and been stabbed in the back by the 61-year-old store owner. The pair fled, but the wounded man was arrested in a hospital waiting room. See Karma has always reached up and tagged someone that had it coming… Rookie Mistakes: Kody Merrival, 21, was arrested in Iowa City, Iowa, in September after he used an alleged stolen credit card in three different establishments. At a coffee bar, he asked for points on his personal account while using the card; at another store, he absentmindedly signed his own name; and in the third, he offered his own ID to accompany the card (leading the merchant to confiscate the card and notify police). See either this dude was just a about a brick shy of a load… I do like the fact that criminals are getting dumber these days however…it also means people are desperate which could get worse before better… Tommy Patterson, 41, vacationing in Ormond Beach, Fla., in July, decided to do some impromptu shoplifting at a Wal-Mart, according to police, but was caught after a chase that was brief because he was still wearing flip-flops from the beach. Dude…sure the flops are comfortable to wear, (I do not think so myself) but just how many track stars do you see wearing flip flops to run faster… Did anyone catch the unbiased opinions of those who were supposed to canter their side of the story on this year presidential running opponents? It was on PBS however since we have direct TV that does not carry the Public Broadcasting Station…which sucks…So if anyone did see it tell me what transpired who is who and who is a big fat liar.. Other then that it’s a Hump-dittelly-day so hump to it or jump the hump, or climb over it how ever one gets through the mid-week crisis. I do really like that idea Sarah had for her smash shop… Have a fabulous day Hugs, Pats and smiles Marrtay
