| OK, so Salem, MA, the unofficial Mecca of modern Witches (just cuz...lol)is having a rather big problem this year. Every year around Samhain (Halloween for you Muggles......no offense intended), Salem hosts a huge Pagan festival where thousands congregate. Now the locals of Salem have filed a petition claiming that during the event, hundreds of "psychics" descend on the town and capitalize on the tourists, making thousands of dollars then leaving town to go home. The locals have a problem with it because these seasonals make more in a weekend off of their town than they make in a whole year, besides that they are mostly fakes just ripping people off. The petition would ban non-locals from vending during the event. Is this wrong, or should it be OK for the out of towners to bank on the event? |
