Me and my boyfriend got a new little puppy on Thursday of last week. We got it from a lady on craigslist that said they just needed good homes. It was a Rottwiler/Doberman mix. Three months old, cutest little thing. Well after having it for a couple of days, we started noticing that it was sick, and not just uncomforatable in a new home. He was throwing up, and not eating anything. It would just lay around and sleep. So we took him to the vet after having him for 4 days, and it turned out that the puppy had a disease called Parvo, which is very common is puppies, apparently. We had to get the puppy put to sleep because neither me or my boyfriend had the thousands of dollars needed for the treatments and hospitalization that after talking to the vets, said he probably wouldn't survive anyway. It fucking pisses me off, because the lady that gave us the puppy had to have known that they were all sick. Me and Chris were already totally attached to it, and it fucking killed us to have to have the puppy put down. So, yeah. That's what I'm dealing with now. A bunch of puppy toys, treats, and puppy paraphanellia... and no puppy. SUCKS. But at least I know that we gave him a good, loving home for the rest of his life. And we did all that we could for the little guy. R.I.P Drex <3
