Few people know much about me, and I like to keep it that way, If you don't know me ...you can not hurt me. so I'll share just a bit about myself. not enough that you can hurt me. but enough for you to decide if you want to be my friend.
1st.) I Have been, and suppose I still am an abused woman. I married a man who I thought was the love of my life. Only to find out, that in his eyes I was something he could control, own, and baet on at his will, I would always beat back. That is until July of 1996 when he took a metal baseball bat to me and cut me down below from front to back. after 6 months in ICU and a year relearning a lot of things most people take for granted. I walk not well, But I move on my own...I can not run I dought I wil ever run again. Danceing was my love. Now I give new meaning to slam danceing. No it is not the same.
2nd.) I am a mother to a very wonderful but very mixed up young man who is 12, he is the love of my life. I never ever thought in my wildest dreams the love of my life, would chase girls and have a mop of dirty hair, with huge blue eyes that hide all sorts of impish dreams.
3rd.) I am among the most blessed of people on earth. Because I know that whatever happens I have been able to honestly say I did it and gave my all. even if someone took my legs and balence, he gave me the will to carry on and be a good person. He changed my body, Not me. so he has lost. And I have survived. I am not a Victim, I am a woman in need of help who loves life and the people in it. So in a way I dance like no one is watching, sing like the whole world can hear. Laugh often, and Love with everything I have. Because I know in my heart that Love is the Greatest among gifts I can give. even if it isn't returned. To say I love is to say I can I am and I will be.
