Ingredients
* 1 pound lean ground beef
* 1 pound wide lasagna noodles
* 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
* 2-1/2 teaspoons tomato paste
* 1 can whole tomatoes Italian seasoned
* 1 cup white onion
* 1 cup monterrey jack cheese
* 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
Directions
1. Boil noodles according to package instructions.
2. Brown meat in skillet with onion then drain well and return to pan.
3. Add garlic, salt and pepper.
4. Add tomato paste and whole tomatoes to skillet when meat is just about ready to remove from stove top.
5. Layer noodles, meat mixture and cheese in layers until all are used ending with noodles.
6. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
