Is it me or does it feel like everyone is waiting for someone to come to their profile and comment, and i don't mean your friends or family.
Just seem to notice a lot of new faces on the site too, which isn't a bad thing. Still I can't complain as I am not being very proactive and commenting lately, probably due to the fact that my last lot of comments were ignored LOL.
Anywho, i finally have a weekend off *big grin* and not far off chrimbo. Well today was the last day for the contractors and it was sad to see them go as we made some good friends. Thgere is also the fact that they worked harder than the some of the staff that are permenant. Just seems strange that they work harder, but they know that if they get the push from this job, the agency will find them another job.
I suppose because its harder to get rid of the perm staff, the perm staff will try to exploit that. Sometimes they can be like little kids. Well some of the staff wanted to organise a party for the sgency staff to say goodbye. The supervisor said if you finish early then everyone can take part. Well whenh he said those staff that bought something in can stay and the rest can go to work, 4 people stayed seated, not including the agency staff. Now that was embarrassing, but it showed what we knew all along. The majority expect someone to bring something in and then eat and drink what they bought. I just see this as plain selfish and they expect respect! They can go a shove a pole where the sun doesn't shine! Trouble is I have to show them some resepct because of my position. Still they lost out on having an extra hour to relax.
I can see the same thing happening when the staff organize the xmas party, well i can say now, they can forget getting anything. I will share with my brother and friends, and I know they are already planning what to bring. But i don't see why we should supply food and drink for others when they earn the same money.
