I never understood the need for popularity... to have friends is one thing... to have admirers is works for others...
Me, I just want the people who say they are my friends to be there as friends. The others that say they are my friends and make themselves scarce?
Those are the ones seeking popularity nez pas? I mean.. they add people without thought, they tell you things they want from you and they leave it at that.
What's the harm in having them around? They leave you alone, they "get what they want" no harm done...
Yet constantly I see people saying "I'm deleting people" I look in the bulletin and read that they are deleting anyone who doesn't show them love.... Excuse me? You are complaining that they are only there for numbers yet they aren't showing you love and boosting your rankings so you're deleting them?
I look at that and think, you aren't just there for numbers tho right? and roll my eyes...
No you aren't just there for numbers you are there for rankings and will crush anyone on your friends list that isn't doing everything in thier power to see to it that you are skyrocketing.
Unless they are downrating you I see no reason to have to delete anyone... If they down rate you it's grounds to say "You're being childish get off my list" but ignoring you? They aren't down rating you or trash talking you... they aren't hurting anyone...
I've never posted a bulletin/blast/whatever else saying "Add/Fan/Rate Me!" Ranking isn't important to me... having fun is and making new friends is... and so far, I haven't had either. I have had actual conversations with 2 people on this site neither of which are the people that asked me here nor are they people on my friends list....
Other then stating that as a fact have you seen me bitch or complain once about it?
Now why not?
Oh that's right.... because I haven't.
Here goes another blog, unnoticed, unread... invisible...
And a friends list... untouched.
I don't request friends... if you delete me, I really don't care, you are the one that added me in the first place.
