the equation

As one begins to concieve of something we begin to declare a certain formula or basis if you will of how things come to be. If one were to take a manufactured object such as a rifle or book one would see the sum of a formula designed by an artisan or creator if you will. all things of creation are the product of some form of equation. some obviously more complicated and sophisticated than others but in the end still the same, a product. If one looks at the world this way then they would say that production preceeds existence. With this thought we ourselves, as humans are a product of extremely elaborate equation that includes all forms of life. We stand one of the most evolving creatures on the planet yet we ourselves cannot escape this equation. If this equation were to be altered or destroyed we ourselves would be destroyed or else between to evolve. The equation for human creation is changing and evolving just as we evolve as is necessary for life. (The effect of existentialism is that it puts every man in possession of himself as he is, and places the entire responsibility for his existence squarely oupon his own shoulders. When one says that though they do mean that every one of us must choose himself, but by that we also mean that in choosing for himself he chooses for all men (Jean-Paul Satre)). Does mankind become little more than a formula contrived of evolution and a basis of time. What is to be said is that a man is no other than a series of undertakeings, that he is the sum, the organization, the set of relations that constitute these undertakings.

give and take

ok so i'm feeling philosophical again lol. another form of science has caught my eye "Alchemy". the laws by which life is measured. the one law that caught me the most was the Alchemist law of relativity of gain and loss. It basically states that for every major gain there is an equally major loss. now think about this. is this not 100% true in all things? look at aging for example. say you turn 21. you gain one full year on your life that is your major gain. now your major loss is that you have lost one year on your lifespan. if you are to live to be 100 years old you now only have 79 years left as compared to when you were 20 and you have 80 years left. catch my drift?? lets try another example. you get married. you gain a full fledged relationship with someone but you lose the freedom that comes from being single. starting to see the pattern here? ok now heres your test. try to find one thing that you can gain without haveing an equal loss. bet ya cant do it.
