My cousin Jen just had her first baby. Three days later I heard she still hadn't named him because she and her boyfriend could not agree on a name. On that day I found out her boyfriend of forever repeatedly insisted she get an abortion after they first found out she was expecting. When that didn't work he moved along to repeatedly suggestion adoption. The baby is now home with them.
I have another cousin, Mike, who has been raising his child alone since day 1 because the mother wanted to abort, but he wanted his child. She has not been in her baby's life.
My question is, if you were in that situation, and your partner wanted nothing to do with the child in the beginning, would you let them be in their life at all?
