The check I wrote to the bank for $91,350.00 cleared yesterday. My Grandma is now a homeowner.
My problems are going to start with the sponging, freeloading, no-account leeches I have (you folks call them "family").
They're going to try to sponge off of her now for everything she's worth.
I helped her a little by showing her a website that will help her do her will (I'm expected to be the only one named).
To strengthen her resolve and protect her more efficiently, I'm considering asking her to allow me to establish a conservancy so once her will is made, anything she wants to do with finances and belongings has to be directed through me.
