I've been on this profile since 2010. This is a long read but it's me. If I don't cover something you'd like to know. Send me a private message or a drink and ask. However I'll warn you, if it's something I feel offense or not appropriate, I simply won't respond.
I have been married and divorced 3 times in my 52 yrs; of course, I never expected that, I just don't believe in staying in situations where I'm not treated with the same respect of honesty, loyalty or faithfulness. I don't believe one should take much more than they give- Marriage is 50/50. I recently accepted a man in my life that has similar goals and aspirations, so I'm giving it another shot.
I have 2 children; my son is 31 and my daughter 22. My son has a girlfriend but no children and they don't plan to have any children. My daughter is married and blessed me with my 1st grand baby, Lily June 8, 2013 and my 2nd grand baby, Noah Jan 20, 2016.
I have been working at the same company since the age of 16; My current position with the company is Director of Training ...Helping others be successful is my passion. Now 36 yrs later- My owner decided to sale the company so he can retire. With his sale, the VP of Ops is also leaving and the Director of Ops in our Northern Region quit. I'm not really a follower, but with 3 very formidable people leaving and the new owners already breaking promises right out of the gate... I turned in my notice of resignation and my last day working there is Feb 5th, 2016. :p I'll be taking 2-3 months off to finish up some certifications I am working on (fitness trainer and social worker) before hitting the pavement job hunting.
I ride a motorcycle; although after a pretty severe accident and head trauma in 2011... I now ride a reverse 3-wheel motorcycle; Can-Am Spyder fondly known by my friends as HNYPOT. I was told I could go back to 2 wheels, but I have a blast on my 3-wheel and have decided to stick with it My friends call me Pooh because of my love for Winnie-the-Pooh. Long story behind all that, but my admiration for him didn't come about until after my accident in 2011. If you've viewed my pictures, you would have seen my back piece and two smaller tats support my love for Winnie-the-Pooh; however I do have 3 that are a different theme.
I have 2 Bachelor degrees; 1 in Business Management and 1 in Business Administration. I didn't go to college until I was 39 years old and very proudly graduated with honors. It doesn't make me better than anyone else, it just makes me feel good about me and it gives me a back-up plan should I need to pursue another line of work. Ha!!
My Dear Father passed and went back "home" when I was 21 yrs old; cancer took his life. He served our country in the USAF for 32 years and 5 yrs in the Navy. My Mother is still living and celebrated her 80th birthday this year and is as spry as most 50 yr olds I have 6 siblings (2 boys and 4 girls) I am the oldest girl in the family of 7 and tied for 2nd oldest of all the children (the youngest boy is my twin). We are pretty spread out across the USA. My twin served in the Marines for 6 yrs; My eldest brother served in the USAF for 25 yrs; My sister's husband has served in the USAF and Army over the past 20 years. I have 6 Nieces; 1 of which serves in the USAF and 12 Nephews; all of my Nephews have served at least 4 years in one of the branches of the armed forces, but 4 of them are still serving the US.
