Ok, well, Winter term is over. And I did it. I ended up taking 19 credits this term and I pulled of a 4.0 GPA. I'm totally excited. Guess school isn't so scary when it's not high school! Now it's Spring Break, and I don't know what we are going to do. I certainly feel like celebrating at this point. I'm really anxious to start Spring term now. I will be taking 20 credits during Spring term, but after this term, I think I will be able to do it without any trouble.
I have been tutoring this last part of Winter term, and have had instructors approaching me asking me to add their classes to the list of classes I am available to tutor for. So starting this term, I will be tutoring for Computer Applications (including Intro to Windows XP, Intro to Word 2007, Intro to Excel 2007, Word Processing with Word 2007, and Formatting with Word 2007). I will also start tutoring for Editing Skills for Information Processing. For those that aren't familiar with the class it is basically Grammar for Business. This is a big deal for me, to have the instructors asking me to tutor for their classes. That doesn't happen often I've been told.
Also, a few of my instructors have asked me to consider a new major (in addition to the TWO certificates that I will be graduating with come the end of Fall term). They are wanting me to pursue a degree in Business Education, because they would like me to teach at the college. I have had multiple instructors and other faculty make the suggestion. So we will see what happens after I finish this time around with school.
Anyway, I just wanted to update everyone on what is going on!
