Good morning and hello there. Trust me there was nothing in the news that was news worthy to report or laugh at. But, that brings up a good point. Have you ever laughed at a situation that was actually serious and honestly not funny but something struck your funny bone? Oh my gosh I have. I did it again on Friday night on my way to…well I just don’t know but I was on my way. As I drove downtown Coloma through Main Street the road bends and goes down a slight hill towards the Paw Paw River. No it’s not a cat and dog paws type river for all of you who think I am going in that direction. At the bottom of the hill is the river and the there is a bridge that cross’s it. The river is only say 3 feet below the bridge. Not at all a big river but a river just the same. Well, on my way down the hill towards the river bridge I see a person sitting and from a distance it reminded me of a cowboy sleeping in a position well known to be said as a cowboy sleeping, legs, crossed head tilted downward. Although as I became closer to the person I noticed it was a woman, and she had her arms crossed on her chest and looked to be upset. I could not stop and immediately found this funny. See here is one of those times a serious situation and I found humor in it. Not that she was upset and sitting on a bridge. I had no clue the reason for her choice in chairs this evening. But, as most know my mind searches for the rhyme or reason in anything. I ran through my mind her being upset because she wanted to jump off the bridge and end it all, but when she got there and seen the river was only 3 feet from the top of the bridge all she was going to do was go for a cold ass swim and it pissed her off…. See I am not always sane myself. Ok to further give you more story to this story she had another person already coming to her rescue that was also female and perhaps they had a fight or something… I haven’t a clue. Another place where serious is always the key is funeral homes. Oh, I so get this feeling that I was all of a sudden break out in humor or laugh out loud and be thought of as a weirdo. Do you ever have to tell yourself calm down now…this is serious and have to try hard to stay serious….Again not that funerals are not the most serious events but, my inner humor beast claws to get out. Oh well, like the news nothing in me was earth shattering today. So I will wish you a wonderful day and hope that your serious moments are kept serious. Have a great day.
