Oh how the water glistens,
quickly streaming down manmade rock.
A raging river roars down my wall
Crashing over my painted tiles.
Waves sorlty rolll across the floor
A newly made carpet of fresh wet sand
cushioning my feet, sticking between my toes.
My footprints leave hints of where I have been.
I quickly struggle to capture its beauty
manmade lakes fill my bowls.
The rippling water soon bursts free,
a reminder that nature cannot be captured.
Fresh waterfalls flow over the rims
Creating Niagra Falls here in Greeley,
but soon the falls lose their splendor
the roaring rapds turn to streams.
As quickly as the falls started their thunder
they softly become the drips of dew.
Leaving only the pools of water
A memory of my Niagra Falls.
