October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. 1 in 4 is not just a statistic...It's me. I am 1 in 4.
We remember
the babies born sleeping,
those we carried but never held,
those we held but could not take home,
those who came home but could not stay...
This is a very close and personal cause to me. My son passed away in march of 1993. This caused me to become a stronger person and lead me to to believe you must cherish every moment and live your life to the fullest not waste any moment! I also had 2 miscarriages. My angels are remembered every day. So while everyone has Pink names (as I did earlier) starting from the 16th til the 31st mine will be Blue in honor of my son. Christopher Lee Leathers.
