Interests
I'm looking for someone who is self-confident and has many sides to their personality. I like a guy's guy - someone who enjoys sports, being with his buddies, etc. but also has a sensitive, romantic side and isn't embarrassed to show it. I'm attracted to someone with a variety of interests, who would be just as interested in going to a book store or playing board games as he would in watching Old School or ESPN. I've learned that it's important to me that my partner be independent, and not feel lost if we're not together all the time (ie: we can go out with friends, and we don't have to stay by each other's side the whole night.) What have I learned from past relationships? You don't have to like everything about your partner; never compromise your standards; and recognize the difference between love and empathy.
