Take for instance, A 17-year-old was arrested in January in Sheboygan, Wis., and charged with stealing a snowmobile from the Sheboygan Yamaha lot. However, the next morning, even before the dealer realized the vehicle was missing, the boy had brought it in for service. Here is one for the Britts.. And I just don’t think the punishment for this mans crime was ever really thought through very much. Now enplane justice to me in this situation.. Garri Holness, 39, is one of the Britons in a bad place at the time of the July 2005 subway bombings, and he suffered the loss of a leg, for which government programs compensated him with more than 100,000 British pounds (about $190,000). That is more than 10 times the amount of government compensation (2005 pounds) received by each of the two teenage girls from a vicious 1985 gang rape that Holness was convicted of participating in (and for which he served seven years in prison). Now I certainly understand that 20 years in time means a difference of a percentage of compensations but, to me his act in 1985 though serving 7 years at the age of 19 may have proved justice to some, I think a higher force intervened and decided you know what rape is not right so I think this man should take another more severe type of punishment. I always say the lord works in mysterious ways. Oh well, apparently so do the, Judge and lawyers in his case….
Well now nothing is happening out of the ordinary in my little spot of the world how about in yours? Mandy was 5 for 6 last night in Coloma’s two winnings games against a conference foe. The comet’s won both games as she hit 5 singles and walked making her batting 1000 although she was hotter then a wet hen at the plate this streaky good start shant last long…(I figured I brought up news of the Britts so why not throw in a verbiage as well)
Not much other then that to write about today. I would surely love to wish everyone a great day and in what ever plans you have today I hope they work out well for you. Oh, oh I have to add one thing. This was not my writing but needs to be passed along and perhaps you agree or choice to disagree with it. Myself I whole-heartedly agree with Louise in this her view on a TV show that chooses to help those who are unfortunate and compensate them with a so called “MAKE-OVER” Louise hits the nail right on the head. Why doesn’t the producers, the people involved and the rest of those responsible think these things through: If people who are unfortunate need a helping hand do so, but do not go in and remodel a person’s house who can barely make their own bills now and throw in a Jacuzzi tub, High end Air-conditioning units, huge gas guzzling SUV’S and other means or re-vamping a house where in no way on earth can these people afford to maintain it? I mean in most cases the people do not have a job supporting the way they live now let alone adding high maintenance costing items. Which leads one to believe that they are king for one day but pulpier for every other. Now Louise said it somewhat different and her passion on this subject was to the heart, I am just the messenger and although I may have said it differently the message is true to heart. Help yes but understand first what your helping will do in that persons future… My future tells me that I typed too long and need to go.. have a great day..
