Newfound Smile
Nights ago , as a tear formed in my eye ,
I sat back in my chair , and seen myself .
Just a man , in a world , uncontroled
by any of man's creations , and yet by all of them .
Nights ago , as a tear formed in my eye ,
I saw a woman in pain , as was I .
For she was a friend , and I knew in my heart
so much more , could be found in her .
Nights ago , as a tear formed in my eye ,
I found the ability to love again .
something I had lost in my quest for it .
and now found , it is given once again .
Nights ago , as a tear formed in my eye ,
My mind opened up to reality .
Before my eyes , was beauty , and grace
and a newfound smile from within .
