If it wasn't for Bruce lee, people like Jackie Chan,Chuck Norris, Jet Li, Jean Claude Van Damme and so on, would not be the martial artists they are today because their styles all originate from his. Bruce Lee paved the way for all of them. If it wasn't for him, the doors that were open for martial arts in America would have remained closed. Beyond martial arts, he remains to be one of the greatest philosophers this world has ever known. He even developed his own martial arts style. How many martial artists today can say that? He broke through racial and traditional barriers that no one was ever able to do. He says, and I quote "Martial arts solidifies what was once fluid and is nothing but blind devotion to the systematic uselessness of routines that lead nowhere." And those words go beyond martial arts. The same can be said about race, religion, politics, and other arts. This world could accomplish a lot if we applied those words to every area of our lives.
