I was born on New-years day in the state of Alaska, and have since moved around between Florida, Iceland, Pennsylvania, and Mass. I’ve been here now since I was 13, which amounts to the second half of my life to date. Although this is a nice enough place to live, all of my best memories are in Florida and I hope to make it back there someday.

As many teenagers do, I went through a rebellious stage when all I cared about was getting stoned/drunk, and I ended up leaving school when I was 16. After a couple years of nonsense, I decided to get myself a decent job, and ended up meeting a great girl. We spent over 5 years together, 2 of which we spent living together in a nice little apartment we rented off my mother. Nearly 3 years ago now, I found her in the overflowing bathtub where she drowned after having a seizure. Needless to say that was the most difficult thing I have ever been through, and I doubt I will ever ‘get over’ it.

Life goes on… My younger brother moved in with me, and now it’s just us and my awesome cat ‘Bear’. I have a pretty great job doing vinyl siding/ replacement windows etc. I hope to move off and start my own remodeling company within the next few years. I have a few good friends that I know I can always count on. I guess things are pretty average for someone my age right now, so I do my best to stay optimistic.

I am definitely somewhat of a homebody, but I do like to get out into the world sometimes too. I love the outdoors (fishing, campfires, sightseeing etc.), but I can also enjoy a night in the city on occasion. I have become far more open to new experiences in the last few years than I was before. I have always loved going to concerts, and I’d have to say it’s still my favorite thing to do. Besides that, I like bumming out on the computer, watching movies/ television, and just being lazy in general. I love animals too, especially my ‘Bear’!

Since my girlfriend passed away I’ve dated around a bit. I was in one true relationship which ended in me being totally heartbroken, but I’m past that now. My opinion of women is (unfortunately) lowering by the day, as I haven’t found one decent girl since I’ve been back in ‘the game’. I want nothing more than to find someone to begin settling down with, and think about starting a family of my own. Until that happens (assuming it will someday), I just want someone to at least share my time with, without excessive ‘drama‘.

I wont claim I’ve been a total saint throughout my life, but I have always strived to do good things. I have never deliberately hurt anyone or anything. I feel like I have been dealt some pretty lousy cards in life, but I just keep telling myself ‘things can only get better from here’. I try to be a decent person, and only keep decent people around me, so if you suck, please move on.
