Moving back in with my parents. At the age of 27 can things be different. Will my father say what he wants and not allow me to say in a nice way enough dad. Will my mother become an overbaring control freak, that nothing I do is good enough for her? Will I be able to save up enough money that in two years not three I can move out and buy my own house? Can things be different? Can they like who I like, can they be accepting of my friends? Will they not try to raise my children for me, but with me? Will my children hate me when I move them out of my parents house in a few years? Will I be a better version of me? Will I be more patient for dealing with my dad's absurd way of talking to me and my kids. My oldest son can't wait to move in with my parents, at least one of us is excited. I'm sure my dog feels the same way. I'm nervous and sick to my stomach at the thought of being under their roof again. They are making it easy for me to move in. No rent, no bills, just take care of me and my kids, and pay for my car. It's crazy, I never thought I would be in their house ever again long term. This is my only choice, to become independant I must move back in. To go to college and have the money to become what I want to become. I'll be a teacher in a few years, and will cater on the side. My kids will hopefully want for nothing. I need to be a teacher simply for the benefits. I will have my summers off, and will possibably like what I am doing. I look very forward to the day that I am sitting in my own backyard watching my kids play on their new swing set, sipping icetea, and being at peace.
