So, continuing on with my last Mumm about this issue, the night after the City Hall approved the Wiccan pentacle being placed next to the debated nativity scene atop city hall, some jerkoff climbed up during the night and vandalized the pentacle and threw it into the shrubberies. A witness saw this happening and stopped a cop. Both of them witnessed the perp running away, but oddly, the cop didn't chase the suspect.
The city hall therefore placed a halt on the further placement of religious symbols atop the city hall, but didn't put the pent back up....though they left the nativity up (sadly helping out the vandal's agenda). The media is eating this whole issue up.
Now MY question here is, how in the hell does someone manage to climb up a government building and do ANYTHING and not get their ass nailed to the wall?? So here's my question..
Should the media be paying more attention to..
A) The continuing obvious ploy by the jesus-toting City Council member to get attention for his folderol protest against Atheists by putting a religious icon on top of the City Hall
**or**
B)The fact that someone is apparently able to climb up a government building and do anything he wants, then run off and not even get stopped by a cop that saw him. |
