I really need some advice about this situation:
Dad died April 14, 2015, he was only 66, and he died quickly from a sudden heart attack. Mom has Alzheimer's, and he was taking care of her. I have an older sister, who lives near my mother, approximately 20 miles away. I live 1,800 miles away from her in another state. My sister has been known to use my mom for money, items, and what not. I am currently enrolled in a certificate college course for medical billing and coding I have 5 more months of college to go to finish the program. Mother is refusing to move in with me, or my sister, or even a nursing/assisted living place. I've checked into transferring what I've already gotten done to the college near her, but they won't accept it. I would have to retake everything I have already taken, plus pay for it all over again. She has way to many animals, to the point where she is an animal hoarder. I am at my wit's end on what to do. She calls me everyday asking me if Daddy is really dead, to which I tell her yes, and she breaks down crying on the phone, all over again. Any suggestions as to what to do?
Option A) I have no idea
Option B) Please suggest. |
