Well once again and this time from a source not often referred to as playing the race card is Mattel. Their new Black Sorority Barbie. Couldn’t it just have been black and not named Black Sorority Barbie? How about Sorority Barbie, what is wrong with that? That way you don’t stereotype the doll as being of one race for one race. You know…I was not a Barbie Doll kid growing up however Jess & Jax were. Mandy was just the one who tortured and maimed the dolls. I mean those dolls look like they spent 12 years in the nuclear reactor tank being fed sludge and toxic waist after she was through with them. One time Mandy I think she was about 6 asked if she could have my razor…oh yeah I am going to hand over a razor to a 6 year old…So I bit I said…”No” I always reacted first then thought second…saying no then asking…” Why do you want my Razor for? …” Knowing she was way to young to shave her legs but figured she wanted to copy the girls, and I was never one to take the blade out and give it to her, shoot she might grab a real one after she thought I gave her the ok to have one. She said the girls need their head shaved… I remember this because …Wait! Shannate O’Conner was not big yet so I am thinking why on earth do the girls need their heads shaved… I walked into her bedroom she shared with Jax…and there she had set up a Barbie Salon… Holey crap she had shaving Cream…. Nair!!!! Slathered all over the heads of about 6 Barbie dolls Lined up in a row….My first thought was oh cute… I will just wash off the shaving cream… Well that synthetic hair just melted with all the glopped on goop so then my thoughts were give me your hands lets see what damage you did to them… well no damage to them however… she already did the cutie cuts on her own hair with a pair of Kindergarten Sheers I spect Jax took from school…Yeah Jax was like a kleptomaniac in school she even brought home the teachers punch one time with a hand full of punch cards… Yeah the Bell girls were a hand full growing up… But I got off the track I remember a couple of dark skinned Barbie’s… But never remember them being referred to as Black Barbie… Oh well just another thing to have the world fight over… now who has the best race in dolls… Oh well…
