It is said that when one chants the Name of God/dess, that Form of God/dess is required to appear. This concept lies beneath many of the world's religious observances of chanting. From the Hail Mary in the Catholic tradition, to the 108 names of God in the Hindu tradition, chanting the name of God has been with humanity from the earliest of recorded days. "The importance of chanting is to become, through sound vibration, the essence of the word and thus to reach a level of ecstasy in which you realize a shift in consciousness."

Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh -Adonai Tsvaot
(pronounced: KAA DOH SH - KAA DOH SH - KAA DOH SH
AH DOH N'EYE - S'VAA OAT
This mantra means: "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God of Hosts." From the scripture of Revelations in the Bible, it is considered the holiest of mantras, the song which reverberates throughout the Heavens. Attuning with these Divine rhythms and resonance aligns us with the Presence of God the Highest, and with the presence of Divine Love. By saying these sounds, we establish a force field of vibration that lesser forces may not access. This mantra is considered the ultimate command for protection and claiming of ones sacred space.
Om Bhoor Bhuvah Svahah
Tat Savitur Varenyam
Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi
Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayaat
Ancient translation:
"Oh Thou Who giveth sustenance to the Universe,
From whence all things proceed, to Whom all things return,
Unveil to us the face of the true Spiritual Sun,
Hidden by a disk of golden light,
That we may know the truth and do our whole duty,
As we journey to Thy sacred Feet."

Considered the holiest and most ancient of all the Vedic mantras, this prayer to the Universal Mother, called Gayatri, transcends religious boundaries and is known to Buddhists and Hindus alike. Chanting it in the morning, mid-day and evening is said to offer the highest form of protection, purification, and ultimately deliverance from this "illusory" world.
Repeating the Gayatri creates a tremendous vibration around the one saying the mantra. It is one of the oldest mantras known mantras to mankind. It invokes the Light of the Universe, (the energy of the sun Surya) and is called the Universal Mother of all mantras. Yod He Vav He
(pronounced: "YOOOD - HEEEEH - VAAAV - HEEEH")
This mantra is considered the sacred name for God encoded into our DNA. In the Kabbalistic tradition, it is known as the Tetragrammator (the Greek name for the four sacred letter YHVH.) The Ultimate Divine Vibration emanates from this most holy "Name of Names" making the word of light into manifested life.
Om Mani Padme Hum
(pronounced : OM - MAAAH - NEEEH - PAAAD - MEEEH - HUUUM)
Translated as: Hail to the Jewel in the Lotus-to the God Within." By chanting this mantra, we connect with the vibratory powers of love, compassion and peace.
Elohim
(pronounced: EEEH - LOOOOH - HEEEM.)
Considered as the "Seven Spirits before the Throne of God," the Elohim are the seven original emanations from the Godhead. According to J.J. Hurtak, in The Keys of Enoch, "The Order of the Elim represents the sustainers of the vibrations of sonic energy used in the music of the spheres...Through the use of diminishing chord structures, the Elim reactivate sound patterns of creation from one sphere to another...The Elim use spherical musical forms to inspire art, teachings and transformational activities in the realms of creation." The slow chanting of "Elohim" brings in a very holy and sacred energy, which creates a vibratory healing field around the one invoking Their Presence.
