| i have never taken out a loan on anything in my life. i only had a few bucks in my account and one day, not only was that gone, but i also owed a few dollars. i went to my bank and they told me about this loan that i had supposedly applied for and, once "i received the money" (which i never did), the loan place started taking their money back. i closed my account after filing a dispute. i thought everything was settled, but i recently started getting calls from the loan company. when i answered, i told them that i never applied for this loan and they said to report fraud with the police. i hate dealing with cops, but i don't really know what to do. i just recently got a new job and, if i don't spend money on useless things, i could have the $480 paid back within a few of months. what should i do? report fraud or just avoid all the stress and pay it off? |
