| my best friend is going through a really hard time right now. some really bad stuff is going on in her life and i'm the kind of person that can't just sit back and watch things go to hell. it seems, though, as she's pushing me away for some reason. we've been best friends for over 6 years and i've gone through the same thing she is right now. she's still talking to me when i call, wants me to stop by her house and is still somewhat letting me in on her personal life as she always has, but she won't open up as much as she used to. i don't know if it's all in my head, but i'm worried that she's going down the same road that we've both been down many times. i don't know what to do. should i "confront" her and ask her why she isn't talking to me like she usually would or just be glad that she's getting some help and give her time to herself? i'm just worried that if i don't confront her, she'll go downhill really quick and it'll be too late for anyone to do anything. so what should i do? |
