It was bath-time and Silvina LOVED watching the children in the bath, laughing and splashing and squealing in delight, but today there was something special, something wondrous and new, "Bubble Bath".
She didn't know what "Bubble Bath" was, but the children were SO excited, and so was she. She loved new things, and when she heard the water being run into the large, white tub, she quickly flew to the window to watch.
The bath was full, and she watched as the mother took a mystical bottle from a high shelf and poured just a little into the bath, and then called the children in. They came running and squealing, and were almost as excited as she was. Clothes flew everywhere and soon the tub was filled with two squealing girls, splashing and having so much fun she could hardly wait until their mother left the room so that she could get a closer look.
"Silvina" cried the girls, "Come look at the bubbles." and she watched in awe as the air filled with shiny balls that she could see right through. They drifted too and fro in the air and she was so delighted she grabbed one in her tiny hands.
Then she was looking out from the inside of the bubble. Whenever she pushed it moved with her hands and all she managed to do was ricochet around the room, faster and faster, bouncing off one wall and then another.
The girls laughed so hard they could hardly move, and she stamped her foot in annoyance, but that only made her bounce off the floor and float up to the roof. Then with a loud "POP" the bubble burst, and she fell right into the tub with the girls.
"Oh Silvina" giggled the eldest, "You are too small for bubbles." as she placed her carefully back on the window sill so that her wings would dry.
"Come back tomorrow and we will bring our boat and teach you to sail."
"Oooohhhh!" thought Silvina, already forgetting the bouncing bubbles, "I wonder what a boat is?" and she sat on the sill blowing at the bubbles and watching them bounce around the room until the bath went cold, and they heard the mother coming once more.
"Tomorrow Silvina" whispered the girls.
"Tomorrow" Whispered Silvina as she flew exitedly home to share her adventures with the other fairies.
