He roars into the parking lot on his Harley. His hair blowing in the breeze. He parks the machine, shuts off the ignition and drops the kickstand. He removes the leather jacket exposing tattoo covered arms. Tucking his jacket under an arm, he heads to the entrance. He stop before entering to shake hands with the pastor and a few other members of the congregation. Not exactly what one expects with a description as such. None the less, our society is full of people who fit this description. these people happen to be kind hearted, intelligent and useful members of society. TO judge them by what they wear or how they look is blasphemy. To tell them they are wrong to be the way they are is not only harassment but, taking away their GOD/DESS given right to be a unique human being, taking away their right to be an individual in a society that is so quickly turning into an army of robots. How do we want our children to turn out? Free willed unique individuals with a zest for life, or drones, bound by unwritten laws, never truly living life, only surviving day by day. By taking away their freedom of expression we are headed for the latter, or, quite possibly raising a generation of rebels. Neither of which should happen. Allowing our children to express themselves, will prevent this from happening. Long hair, moderate amounts of make up, male or female, and conservative body art/jewelry should be accepted as mere self expression as opposed to offensive behavior.
