After being divorced for 4 years and having my son turn 17, I am learning that it is time for me to have a life of my own! I have a “little extra baggage” in the physique department that is dwindling as I am changing my lifestyle to include more healthy eating habits and exercise. My best friend eats only organic foods and has introduced me to “Harry’s Farmer’s Market” where I have started to do 90% of my grocery shopping. I work a good distance from home so I don’t always have time for exercise but I am making an effort to include it in my weekly routine!

I love to cook and enjoy trying new recipes as well as the tried and true ones that are already in my repertoire. I also enjoy spending time online. I own a Harley Road King and enjoy riding during good weather in the Georgia Mountains. I’m not a serious sports fanatic but I enjoy watching pro football and basketball. My sports passion is racing, both NASCAR and NHRA!

In the romance department, you will find that I am an old-fashioned gentleman who believes in opening doors, holding chairs and traditional gender roles. I appreciate women and the fine contributions they have made to this world – my mother (God rest her soul) was my best friend and always taught me to respect and care for women. I have many platonic women friends, including one of my best friends.

I am seeking to invest my time with someone who will start out as an acquaintance, become my best friend and eventually become my lover and companion. I enjoy both casual and in-depth conversations on a multitude of subjects! I appreciate a woman who is confident, witty, intelligent, trustworthy, loyal, patient, loving and giving…to name a few things!
